How Lake Life Property Management handles your information when you reach out, book a consult, or come on as an owner.
When you submit our contact form or owner-consult request, we collect your name, email, phone (optional), location, building (if any), and the details you share about your property. We collect this so we can respond to you, evaluate fit, and prepare for a conversation.
Inquiry information is used solely to follow up with you. If we go on to manage your property, we collect what's needed to host on your behalf: unit details, owner contact, accounting basics for monthly statements, and any preferences you give us.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties. We do not use your information for marketing outside of Lake Life. We do not run third-party advertising or remarketing pixels on this site.
This site uses cookies for basic functionality and for analytics, so we can see how visitors find and use the site. We use Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies to count visits and to note actions such as sending an enquiry or booking a call. We do not send your name, email or phone number to Google Analytics, and we do not use it for advertising or remarketing. You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out add-on.
If we work together as your property manager, your statements, reports, and guest records are kept confidential. Access is limited to you and your assigned Lake Life host. Owner data is retained for the duration of our agreement plus the period required by Canadian tax record-keeping rules.
You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to any legal record-keeping requirements). Email us and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
